Move over Sheraton – welcome Crowne Plaza Hotel!!! Yeah so I was able to get a great deal on a NICE room at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Dublin (near the airport)…it probably isn’t quite as nice as the Sheraton Bilbao we had stayed at but it is VERY NICE nevertheless!!! Since our ferry arrived in Dublin at 6 am, we were quite early for check in at the hotel (even after getting lost several times) but the staff here were VERY NICE to me and actually got a room ready for us, with very little delay. We checked in and then I took a nap until around 11:30 and then got ready to head to the city. The best way (so I’m told) to get around Dublin is via the public buses so off I was on the bus. The hotel people were again very helpful and gave me a list of the bus routes to take and what not (a bus ran directly from outside the hotel). So after some very busy road conditions I eventually made it to the city. I did a lot of walking around in Dublin. One of the more interesting places I went to was Trinity College here which is actually a tourist attraction and it was VERY NICE…I wish waterloo was that nice! I walked around some more and when to the National Gallery. Did some more sightseeing and that was the day. I actually went to the Temple Bar area which was very lively and enjoyable. There were TONS of pubs there and there was also this crazy guy who was doing the a limbo under a flame – very intresting! Dublin has a very chic shopping area in the city center but it’s quite expensive, I’ll give it a closer look tomorrow and there are a lot of places I still have to go see!

I have a very serious question for you. You seem to be sight seeing - city exploring everyday....
DON'T YOU HAVE TO WORK SOMETIMES???? Or do European work less than 4 hours per day???
