Disneyland Paris!!!

Before I talk about the day I just wanted to say that I was SOOO close to getting a Nissan 350Z rental car for the next two days (for free!) but didn’t…I won’t get into the details but the car was waiting for me (after I harassed Peugeot for a rental for the next 2 days!) and then I had to cancel the hold for it. Let’s just leave it at it – too bad :(

Now don't laugh but today we went to Disneyland Paris which was quite fun. Peter and I split up when we got there so I was able to walk fast and cover pretty much every attraction I wanted to get to. The only thing I missed I guess was one of the train rides across the park, that probably would have been nice hehehehehe. Oh and I didn’t go to the Phantom Manor because the line was too long and it seemed a little too kiddy for me. It was pretty awkward I’ve gotta say though, waiting in line to go on rides by myself…I’m not used to that at all, usually I got with a lot of people to theme parks like this. But this whole trip has been a very good way of becoming more ‘independent’ if that’s what you want to call it! Disneyland did have this good feature called FastPass where you could get a ticket to go on a ride at a certain time and then just come back at that time with little or no waiting time. Anyways as you can see from the pics I’ve posted the atmosphere in the park was real cool and really brought out the child in me! I did however avoid making a complete fool of myself and resisted the temptation of going on the carrousel hahaha. But I did go on the Mad Hatter’s tea cup ride. My favourite rides here were Space Mountain and it’s a small world. All the rides here though we not as “thrilling” as the ones at Canada’s Wonderland, but the environment here was far superior for sure. I didn’t see any Mickey Mouse walking around – I wanted to take a picture with him! I did however pose with a pumpkin man but the lady I asked to take the picture took it wrong so I lost that picture :( Anyways by the time the park closed I was pretty tired (and I slept real late last night) so I decided to call it a night. Tomorrow will be VERY busy though I want to go inside and tour the Louvre and Eiffel Tower and still have tons of attractions to see!
